About Us
Memon Professional Forum (MPF), which came into existence in January 1985, is a prestigious body of professionals belonging to the Memon Community. Today the Forum Membership comprises over 1700 professionals from various disciplines. The membership covers the entire spectrum, from senior professionals, occupying eminent positions both in Pakistan and abroad, to young professionals who are in the early stages of their careers. This gives MPF the Potential for becoming a very strong and representative institution for the Memon Community.

President’s Message
We have an exciting year ahead.
I’m pleased to share that the Managing Committee (MC) for 2024–25 assumed charge on September 7, 2024. The committee is a dynamic mix of seasoned professionals and energetic new members from diverse fields, committed to taking the Forum forward.
Since taking over, we’ve successfully launched a detailed event calendar and a membership drive aimed at engaging young professionals. We’ve also outlined a financial plan to support our programs and operational needs.
Exciting initiatives are underway to strengthen ties between Corporate Pakistan and the Forum — we’ll be sharing updates soon. With the Almighty’s help and our elders’ support, we’re confident in meeting your expectations.

Our Objective
The MPF was formed to foster networking among members of various disciplines such as doctors, engineers, architects, accountants, lawyers, MBAs, tax practitioners, and other recognized professional bodies. The objectives of this forum are comprehensively spelled out in the Memorandum of Association. Broadly, the objectives are:
To develop an organization where professionals get-together and promote unity, cooperation and mutual understanding.
To organize programs for professional development of the members.
To provide a platform for youngsters to learn and guide them in the selection of professionals through career guidance programs.
How We Work
Our Leadership Structure: MC & SAB Explained
The Managing Committee (MC) forms various committees from time to time to carry out the forum’s activities for the year. The Managing Committee for the year 2019–2020 decided to introduce new ideas to further streamline the forum’s operations and establish committees with specific objectives.
The MC believes that continuous improvement can be achieved only by implementing new ideas. It also recognizes that the full benefit of the forum’s vision can only be realized over the long term. Therefore, the committee has initiated foundational changes, the results of which will become evident over the coming years.
The Forum also has a permanent body known as the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB), which consists of 12 immediate Past Presidents of the Forum. The incumbent President and the Honorary Secretary General are additional members of this board. The SAB’s responsibility is to review long-term planning and serve in an advisory capacity. Its existence ensures that the Managing Committee benefits from the extensive experience and insights of the Forum’s Past Presidents.
The affairs of the MPF are managed by a Managing Committee (MC), elected for a two-year term by the members of the Forum. The Managing Committee consists of 16 members, elected by the General Body from the following five categories:
